This cute, mid-century cocktail cabinet has been painted a deep, dark charcoal grey and sealed with a hardwearing satin topcoat. Its small and slim proportions make it ideal for those who lack space or don't want a large drinks cabinet dominating a room. Comprising two display areas and two cupboards this versatile cabinet is the perfect piece for mixing cocktails and displaying your prized curios.
Starting with the top left-hand cupboard, this door drops down revealing a drinks preparation area. I have installed mains powered, LED lights which are motion activated. Two glass, silver mirrors line the base of this section and the rear is lined with a dark grey acrylic mirror which has been 'pinstriped' by hand using a frost effect to give a modern-day twist on the mid-century pinstripe design typically featured in cabinets of this era.
The top right area has a fixed glass shelf that can accommodate items up to 15cm tall and is lined with another dark grey acrylic pinstripe mirror. Lighting is installed in this area too and works independently of the drinks preparation area by means of remote control (and is also dimmable). Providing a warm ambient light and illuminating your prized glassware and possessions.
The bottom left display area is a larger version of the top right one. Adorned with another pinstripe mirror in dark grey but does not feature a light. A fixed height glass shelf provides a space for displaying shorter items (up to 17.5cm tall).
The bottom right hand cupboard provides ample storage space for bottles and other tall large items. The dimensions for this cupboard are 42cm x 35.5cm x 30cm (H x W x D).
The original handles have been replaced with solid brass knobs in a gun metal finish in keeping with the grey theme.
Three thin black stripes feature as a 'nod' to the tracks that once housed the sliding glass doors also.

This is an old piece of furniture. This item has had a previous life and it has some minor imperfections commensurate with its age along with expected 'wear and tear'. The one previous owner has made some superficial repairs to the veneer which may be noticeable upon very close.
This cabinet has been restored and refinished by hand so please expect a high quality finish rather than a machine finish. Please note that the upper track for the old glass doors for the bottom left hand cupboard is missing a section of wood. This is only noticeable if you get down on your knees and look upwards but has been painted out in the dark grey. This cabinet features two sets of lights and requires two plug sockets.
